ESSAY ON BHAGAT SINGH IN ENGLISH

Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh was one of the greatest sons of Indian motherland who has
sacrificed his life for the Indian freedom from Britishers. He was one of the freedom fighters of India who showcased the true courage and heroic acts and shook the foundation of the British rule.
He dedicated his life for the country and avoided marriage by saying that his life is dedicated only to service the motherland and ho desire can lure him.

He avenged the death of Lala Lajpat Rai by killing the British officer Saunders involved in it. Bhagat Singh along with Batukeshwar Datt distributed pamphlets regarding the harsh policies of Britishers in the Central Assembly in April, 1929. He also allowed the authorities to arrest him so that a strong message goes in the public against the harsh policies of the British rule.

Bhagat Singh also joined the hunger strike of Jatin Doas who demanded better conditions for Indian prisoners-in jails.. The rising popularity of Bhagat Singh shook the British rule and they hurriedly passed the death sentence to him. 23rd March, 1931 was the day when Bhagat Singh was hanged and martyred for our motherland.
